Purioxide Generators

NorStar's  "Purioxide" generators are designed to produced a highly potent nontoxic disinfectant from an unassuming simple table salt (NaCl) or potassium chloride (KCl). Through a meticulous process of electrolysis our generators produce liquid "Purioxide"  that contains high level of Free Active Chlorine (FAC) that is mainly Hypochlorous Acid (HCLO) and Hypochlorite (CLO-). The ratio of HCLO to CLO- found in Purioxide is in constant equilibrium that is regulated by the Purioxide's pH level. The end-use application for which Purioxide is to be used dictates weather the precursor is sodium chloride or potassium chloride. NorStar recommends the use of potassium chloride for agricultural applications.

Low-Chloride Generators

Our low chloride Purioxide generators are specifically designed for special application in which low consumption and low residuals of chloride (salt) is heavily desired. These generators consume significantly lower amounts of salt and less power per one liter of Purioxide produced.
