Anecdotal data from the market indicate that plants grown aeroponically yield nearly four time higher than similar plant grown in other forms of hydroponic systems like Nutrient Film Technology (NFT) or Aquaponic. In addition aeroponically grown plants tend to develop a remarkably better root systems than similar plants grown aquaponically or in NFT. Therefore, we highly recommend aeroponic irrigation to any crop. Nonetheless, it is essential to note that aeroponic irrigation systems tend to cost a little more than hydroponic systems. As such, one may consider hydroponics for low cost crops or for projects with a tight budget.
